What is already in MineRooms

For guests

The public booking site leads with a branch, date and occupancy search, so a visitor checks live availability and sees the direct rate, then books from search to confirmation on the property's own site. A registered guest has a portal with their profile, bookings, stay history and loyalty rewards. During the stay, guests order food to their room by scanning the room's QR code, and follow the order's status.

For reception

The room board shows every room and its status, and reception checks guests in and out and changes a room's status from it. The booking calendar covers hourly bookings and walk-ins, and night audit and shift handover are part of the front-desk workflow.

For housekeeping and the kitchen

Housekeeping works from a task board with cleaning and inspection states, so a room goes back on sale once it is marked clean. Each in-room order moves through the kitchen display from new ticket to ready and delivered.

For managers and admins

Admins set room types, rates and dynamic pricing schedules, promotions, coupons and loyalty settings, and read the reports. Hotel groups manage their branches from the same platform, and the staff portal gives reception, the kitchen, housekeeping and admins access by role. The platform supports guests in more than one language.

How MineRooms is built

MineRooms is built on Drupal with a Vue.js 3 interface for the screens hotel staff keep open all day. The room board, the kitchen display and the housekeeping board update in real time over Server-Sent Events, so reception sees a room change state without reloading the page.

Overbooking is closed off in the booking flow and in the database. A room is soft-held while the guest completes checkout, and concurrency is controlled at the database level, so simultaneous requests for the same room cannot both succeed.

How we deploy and extend MineRooms

A MineRooms project starts from the version already in production, not from a blank build. Before anything is signed we walk through the staff side with you one role at a time: reception, housekeeping, the kitchen and the admin who sets rates and promotions.

What usually changes from one property to the next: room types, rates and pricing rules; the booking journey and its branding on your domain; the payment provider; the restaurant menu behind in-room ordering; the reports management wants; the languages your guests use; and connections to the systems the property already runs, such as an ERP or a CRM. Customisation is kept apart from the platform core, so a core upgrade does not overwrite it. For a hotel or a group commissioning hotel booking system development, this is a custom hotel booking platform that starts from working software; the order of the work and the fit report are set out in how a platform implementation runs.

For agencies

If your agency's client runs hotels or serviced accommodation, we deploy and adapt MineRooms together with you, under your name, and your client receives the running system and its source code. You keep the client relationship; the partner programme sets out how a platform partnership works.

Hosting, source code and warranty

You can run MineRooms on your own servers or cloud account, or on infrastructure we operate under a managed hosting agreement; nothing proprietary runs on it, so you can move later. You receive the whole running system and its source code, and the customisation built for your property is a development project with its source code assigned to you: what you own.

Development work carries our warranty: one year by default, up to three, agreed in the contract before work starts and handled by the team that built the system. Ongoing updates are a separate support and maintenance agreement. Staff are trained on your own rooms and rates, and the role guides below cover each job at the front desk, in the kitchen and in housekeeping.

What it costs

A MineRooms deployment is placed in the project tiers on the pricing page like any other build, by what the finished system has to do: the branches and roles, the integrations, the records to move and the languages. What already runs in the platform is not charged as if it were written again; the price is for the part built for you, fixed once the fit report is agreed. The tiers run from Micro to Strategic, and the fit report says which one your deployment is in.

On the system you choose to run it on: your own servers or cloud account, or hosting we operate for you. Each deployment is a system of its own, so bookings, guest profiles and stay history stay in your database.
