About This Project

The Virtual Library is the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme’s digital repository — the single place its publications, reports, factsheets and media are catalogd and made findable, rather than scattered across project sites.

Material is organized several ways at once: by SPREP’s five programs, by member country, by project, and through eleven curated collections including Ecosystem Based Adaptation, the Pacific Children’s Environmental Collection, Traditional Knowledge, Marine Species, Oceans, Seabirds, Gender, and Threatened and Migratory Species. Alongside general and advanced search it carries external resources, a video library, the Anamua “Treasures of the Pacific Environment” collection, and a submission workflow so registered contributors across the region can publish into it directly.
