We build your product for 10% of the development price

WeebPal Team September 3, 2026 6 min read

You have a system in mind. The market is real and the potential is clear. You are ready to invest in building it.

The hard part is not the money. It is getting the thing built. Hire your own team and you need engineers who are good enough, free to start, and willing to commit to your company for years. Those three rarely show up together. Hire an agency and you get capacity, but they are measured on project revenue, not on whether your business works.

We have been that agency for fourteen years. WeebPal has built web software for clients worldwide, a few hundred projects, with a founder of twenty-five years in the field.

There is a third option worth thinking about. We ask for 10% of your budget and finish the system. The other 90% goes back into the project, and we take a minority stake. Our return then depends on your business, not your budget.

What this is

Say your system costs $1M to build. Under this program it costs you $100K instead, and you get the same system. The other $900K we invest in the project rather than bill it, and that converts into a minority stake.

Three amounts get confused, so here they are separately.

  • What the system costs you. 10% of what it would cost on the market, paid against results you can see.
  • What we contribute, for a minority stake. The other 90%, invested in the project rather than billed.
  • What you contribute, for the majority. All the capital you put into the project, in any form.

The project gets a full team. Architecture, backend, frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps and AI. The same team that works on our enterprise projects.

That is what the 10% buys. The team does not just finish the system and hand it over. They built it, so they know it from the inside. And we hold part of it, so we still care how it does years from now.

We start from platforms we already have, not from a blank page. That is where the tooling and the judgement came from, and it is why these numbers are real.

A prototype in 3 to 5 days. A complete system ready for the business in 3 to 6 months.

Save your money, save your time, multiply your opportunities. We own a part of your business.

How the share is calculated

By a formula, agreed before we start.

Our share is our contribution divided by the sum of our contribution, your contribution to the project, and the value of the idea and other qualifying contributions.

We aim to hold between 5% and 25%. Your own contribution has to be large enough to keep us in that range. The more you bring to the project, the smaller our share. And the happier we are. A tenth of something large is worth more to us than a quarter of something small.

Who this is for

Two situations fit.

  • You have an idea and you can see the market. You are ready to invest in building the business, and ready to invest in building the software that carries it.
  • Your own company needs the software. You are ready to invest in building it. The value it brings to your company can be measured, and that measured value is what the product earns.

From there we talk. This goes ahead when you are happy with what we can do, and we are happy with what you can do.

What each of us brings

You know the market. You know what the customers will pay for, and you can reach them. When a question comes up about the business, you have the answer. You are already investing in this business. With us you pay 10% of the development price, not the 100% another firm would charge for the same result.

We build the software. The other 90% we invest, and that is how we buy into the business. Our part covers the functionality the agreed development price pays for. You pay 10% of the price and we carry 100% of the responsibility. The code is yours with full source, along with your data and your brand. Our platforms stay ours, with a perpetual licence to you for this product even if we part ways.

The total investment covers everything beyond that. After the build we are shareholders together, and we fund what comes next in proportion to what we hold.

How to start

There is no form. Write us a few lines about the product and where you are with it, and we will ask the rest.

We take on about three projects a year. That is what we can carry and still be properly involved in each one. So talking is easy, and what comes after it we choose carefully. Every step below is a point where both of us decide whether to go on.

  1. You: Share your vision. Tell us the idea or the problem you are solving. One meeting is enough for both of us to see whether there is something here.
  2. WeebPal: Design and prototype. If the first conversation says it is worth it, we put the work in. Architecture, data model and interface wireframes, a working prototype in three to five days, and the development price built from that scope. Free, and before any payment.
  3. Both of us: Agree the terms. If the direction feels right and the price holds up, we settle scope and milestones. Then a term sheet with the development price, what each side puts in, and the share that follows. You pay the first 5% to start.
  4. WeebPal: Build and iterate. We build in two-week cycles on your real data. The whole agreed scope, not a trimmed-down version of it.
  5. You: Follow and feedback. You see working software at the end of every cycle and tell us what to change. That feedback is what keeps the dates real.
  6. WeebPal: Deploy and launch. QA, performance testing and production deployment. A complete system ready for the business in three to six months. You pay the second 5% on delivery.
  7. You: Run the business. The system is live and it is yours to run. Selling, operating and growing the business is the part only you can do.
  8. WeebPal: Follow and support. Warranty for one year, up to three. We own part of this too, so keeping it working is our own interest. New features and scaling beyond that we fund together, in proportion to what each of us holds.

Who decides the price

The development price sets everything else. It decides what 10% is, what we contribute, and the share that follows. So it cannot be a number we simply announce.

We estimate it at step 2, together with the design and the prototype. We write the scope down and build the price from it, line by line.

You see exactly where the number comes from, and then you check it. You can ask another firm for a comparable quote, or hand our estimate to an AI and let it argue against us. Either one takes an afternoon rather than a month.

If your checks say the number is fair, we build it together. If not, the conversation was still good for both of us. We close it here, and maybe open it again on another project someday.

Hai Nguyen, WeebPal Founder & President, is the person you will work with.

We would be glad to build something with you. Write to [email protected], message (+84) 938 893 995 on WhatsApp, or find us at in/nguyenngochai on LinkedIn.

Three projects a year. Tell us what you are building and where you are with it. We will say early and plainly whether this is the right arrangement, and if it is not, which one is. Start with a conversation →

Note. This page describes a partnership program. It is not an offer to contract, a commitment to fund, or a solicitation of investment. All figures are in US dollars and illustrate how the model works. The development budget, ownership, vesting and buyback terms of any engagement are fixed in its own agreement.
