About WE Mega Menu

WE Megamenu is a full-featured mega menu module for Drupal, contributed and maintained by WeebPal on Drupal.org. It provides an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for building complex, multi-column, responsive mega menus without writing code. It supports custom styling, animations, responsive behaviour, and integration with any Drupal theme.

Finalist, Splash Awards Asia 2024. WE Mega Menu was among the finalists in the Open Source category at DrupalCon Singapore; TheDropTimes published the list.

Install it

Requires: Drupal 10.3, 11 or 12

Install with Composer, then enable it:

composer require drupal/we_megamenu
drush en we_megamenu

Release 1.17.0 supports Drupal 11 and Drupal 12. If you are planning a Drupal 11 or 12 upgrade, talk to us: we maintain this module.

Setting it up

Requirements: No modules outside Drupal core.

1. Enable the module at Administration → Extend.
2. Go to Administration → Structure → Block layout and place the Mega Menu block into your main menu region.
3. Set which content types, pages and roles the block appears for, and pick its region.
4. Build the menu itself at Administration → Structure → Mega Menu. Each menu gets its own configuration, so a main menu and a footer menu can look completely different.
5. Grant "administer we_megamenu" to the roles that should be able to edit it.

Permission: administer we_megamenu. Administer at /admin/structure/we-mega-menu.
