MineTickets guide for customers

This guide is an overview. It describes what MineTickets lets a customer do, area by area, as the platform's published features set it out. It does not walk through individual screens or name buttons: each business runs its own MineTickets system, and what you see depends on the kind of booking that business takes and on how its system is set up.

• Admission to a museum, a zoo or a theme park: book online, and choose a specific seat or viewing area where the venue offers one.
• An event such as a concert, a sports match or a cultural event: before the event, choose and reserve the seats you want.
• An appointment with a doctor or a dentist: choose your healthcare provider and book at a time that suits you.
• A spa or beauty treatment: choose the service or treatment, such as a massage, nail care, hair styling or a facial, then the date and time.

Booking happens online, at your convenience, without waiting on hold. MineTickets is built so that a booking can be changed afterwards: its details, its date and time, or the service booked. If you need to change a booking, the business you booked with can tell you how it handles changes.

Payment is taken online as part of the booking, with a choice of payment methods. The methods on offer depend on the payment gateways the business has connected to its system.

As soon as the booking is complete, your ticket is ready to download as a PDF, for easy access and printing. When you book several tickets, they can be combined into one document instead of arriving separately.

MineTickets also works with QR codes, for example for entry to an event, which cuts down on paper tickets.

The booking site works on mobile phones as well as on computers, so you can choose, book, pay and download your ticket wherever you are.

Businesses publish news on the same site: updates, announcements and promotions, and at spas and salons new treatments and special offers. Clinics, spas and salons may also use your contact details for appointment reminders.
